How to Participate in a Webinar or Request a Recording

Webinars are delivered via an online meeting platform called Zoom.

After completing the registration form, you will receive an automatic email with more information about the session. If you do not receive an email, double check your email address and re-submit the request. For all the webinars listed in the Library Resources area, you will receive an email 24-48 hours prior to the start of your session with log-in information.

If you need closed captions to access online materials, contact interpreters@nvcc.edu. Please give at least 5 business days' notice to schedule captions. We will try to honor your request with shorter notice but cannot make any guarantees. Captions may be viewed on PC laptops or desktops, tablets with Windows software (like Surface Pro), MAC laptops or desktops. Captions cannot be viewed on mobile devices.

On-Demand Workshops and Recordings

On-demand workshops are provided by Student Lingo and NOVA Online Staff. To view Student Lingo content, you will be prompted to create an account for the Student Lingo site. This account will give access to all recordings.

The system can help students select a program/major based on their interests and aspirations, discover occupations matching their personal preferences and attributes, map out their career plans - present and future, and make informed career decisions.
