Welcome to ELI! ELI distance learning courses are designed for students who prefer to study independently. Most coursework may be completed at home. It is important to schedule at least 2-3 hours of work per course credit per week for each course (a three-credit course requires 6-9 hours per week). ELI courses use one or more of the following media: videotape, DVD, cable TV, World Wide Web, computer programs on disk or CD-ROM, audiotape or CD, and voice mail.
